We didn’t plan to start a paddle brand. We just wanted a better paddle.

huruhara began with a simple frustration: most paddles either felt too basic or were just too expensive. And none of them seemed made for players like us — playing on concrete courts, in tropical heat, in Asia.

So we started testing. Obsessively. Over 11 months, we went through 38 different paddle builds, trying every shape, surface, core, and weight we could think of. We didn’t just test them ourselves — we handed them to friends, competitors, beginners, and league players. We listened. Then we changed. Again and again.

The paddles you see now are the result of that process.

We worked directly with the lab behind some of the biggest paddle brands in the world — not just any factory, but a team that’s been around since pickleball began. We went deep into materials, balance points, swing weight, and feel — because we believe you deserve a paddle that helps your game, not holds it back.
